SmArt collective presents: “Salute” a Memorial Weekend Group Exhibition

A catalog of the collaborative effort made by the members of the Bay Area collective. These are artists that require everyone’s attention. This gallery features a Welcome statement by Collective Founder and Chief Curator, Mauricio Velasco.

“This is a SALUTE to Artists who toil day and night, seeking to share their lives, Their creativity, and their thoughts with the world.

This is a SALUTE to Artists who publically embody a collective spirit and sense of community by working together to achieve a greater good.

This is a SALUTE to the smArt Collective’s first gallery exhibition, a significant achievement highlighting the growth of our network.

Organized in just two weeks, this exhibition features 70 unique works by more than 40 artists, from all over the country, including one international artist.

This show represents a new conversation in Contemporary Art with emphasis on a grassroots approach. The pop up gallery is by the people for the people.

Thank you for your support.”
